TeleToolies is operated by Benji, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under registration number 96684062. Benji is the data controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as "TeleToolies," "we," "us," or "our" in this privacy policy).

This privacy policy is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch privacy laws.

2. Data We Collect

  • Telegram API Credentials: To use our Telegram tools, you may provide your Telegram API ID and Hash. These credentials are securely stored and used only to access your Telegram content as authorized by you. Legal basis: Performance of a contract.
  • Usage Data: We collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This may include information such as your computer IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data. Legal basis: Legitimate interests.
  • Media Files: When using our media download tool, the files you download are temporarily stored on our servers to facilitate the download process. Legal basis: Performance of a contract.
  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we process payment information. The actual payment processing is handled by our payment service providers, and we do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Legal basis: Performance of a contract.
  • Communication Data: If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. Legal basis: Legitimate interests.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service

  • To monitor the usage of our Service
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues
  • To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions
  • To send you service-related emails and communications

5. Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Media files downloaded using our Service are stored according to your subscription plan:

  • Free plan: Files are stored for up to 7 days
  • Pro plan: Files are stored for up to 30 days
  • Enterprise plan: Files are stored for up to 90 days

You can manually delete your files at any time through your account dashboard.

Account information is retained for as long as you maintain an active account with us. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your account information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain the information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Usage data is retained for analytical purposes for up to 26 months.

6. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect the security of your personal data, including:

  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit
  • Regular security assessments and penetration testing
  • Access controls and authentication procedures
  • Regular backups to prevent data loss
  • Staff training on data protection and security

Your Telegram API credentials and other sensitive information are encrypted in our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay, in accordance with our obligations under the GDPR.

7. International Transfers

Our servers are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, some of our service providers may be based outside the EEA, which means their processing of your personal data may involve a transfer of data outside the EEA.

Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

  • Transfers to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection by the European Commission
  • Transfers subject to appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@teletoolies.com. We will respond to your request within one month. There is no fee for exercising your rights, but we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to comply if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR. For Netherlands, the supervisory authority is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 16 ("Children").
